Maundays Bay -
Daily rates from USD 495 (summer) and USD 995 (winter)
A lengthy palm trees trail in the wind welcomes you upon your arrival to the hotel, followed by a reception of soft sofas, Moroccan chandeliers and a blessed view to the sea. That is how your stay begins!
This 1988 hotel was a milestone in Anguilla’s life and brought throughout its history a list of jetsetters from all around the world. It still is a celebrities’ favorite - they find in it the perfect privacy.
This hotel was strategically built next to the beach. Be it in the reception, in the restaurants, in the leisure areas or in the rooms, you will always be only a few steps from the sea.
The most incredible feature of this hotel are the rooms. There are 70 suites distributed in small houses along Maundays. They vary from romantic suites with a highlighted bathtub to a three-room suite to the family with a private pool. Our favorites:
This suit leaves nothing to be desired. It still counts on small room separated from the suite and a solarium for a peaceful tan!
A New Yorkers favorite, this suite is huge. It has two rooms, a super-kitchen and a pool for drinks at the end of the day.

The breakfast is at the seafront restaurant, Blue - breads, fruits and fresh cereals go with your favorite coffee. For lunch, salads and sandwiches with spices plus a special touch. Order the shrimp salad with avocado or try the mahi-mahi wrap. A pause between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. for a tea at the lounge - the afternoon tea, a British tradition well adapted at Cap Juluca. For dinner, choose between the casual Spice, that serves amazing Arab portions - among them do not miss the couscous made with semolina seed and the lamb kebab. If you prefer to have dinner under the starlight, Pimm’s restaurant serves a lobster ravioli seasoned with brandy and it is a must-try, together with one of the best wine selection of the island.
The sea in front of the hotel invites you all day long for a dive. For the kids, there are many activities in between kayaks and diving accessories. The spa displays precious massages options. The hotel offers an entertainment room as well, with many alternatives of TV series - from Californication to Game of Thrones - besides a good book selection. It is worth visiting the two stores in the hotel. One of them is more casual and displays local accessories, besides the traditional Caribbean rums. The other one, fancier, brings Gucci and Chanel pieces.
The perfect half-moon shaped bay facing the south of St. Martin, Maundays Bay is a jewel and the hotel occupies all of its area. Calm waters surrounded by villas and restaurants. To rest after lunch, walk west toward the rudimental corner of the beach and then to the cliff to enjoy the 180 ° view of the neighboring island of St. Martin. When the day begins to end, you will find all kinds of drinks at one of the bars of the hotel.
